As christians world over mark the triumphant entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem to pay the supreme price to redeemed mankind to God a leading gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming Ondo governorship election Chief Olusola Nehemiah Ebiseni has called on Christians to live a life worthy of emulation .
According to Ebiseni, who is also the Chancellor of the Ilaje diocese of Anglican Communion Christians, there is no life worthy living if one was not counted worthy to be with the saviour at hereafter.
In a press statement issued to mark the occasion by Ebiseni Campaign Organization Media Coordinator Olu Egbodofo, the Governorship hopeful
noted that the Palm Sunday is very significant in the life of faithfuls called on Christians all over the world to continue to pray for Nigeria, particularly Ondo State, to get it right.
Ebiseni, who identified leadership as our bane underscored the needs for us to imbibe the precepts of Jesus Christ such as holiness, truthfulness, selfless service, self denial and be ones brother’s keeper in order to break even in life.
As the Governorship election draws nearer Ebiseni enjoined residents to raise alter for the State and pray to God to give a leader after his heart as he chosen David over his brothers.
According to him, what we need now in the State is a new beginning, and as christians entered the passion week today and prayed, God will hear our prayers to usher in what we desire.
The three times Commissioner in the State called on Nigerians not to lose faith in Country adding that though it is tough now with God all things are possible.
