NUUS DAY: Professor Dayo Faduyile Receives “Most Outstanding Patron of the Year” Award

The National Union of Ukoyade Students (NUUS) today honoured Professor Dayo Faduyile with the prestigious “Most Outstanding Patron of the Year” award. This recognition is a testament to Professor Faduyile’s unwavering support and commitment to the student body.
As part of the celebration, Professor Faduyile presented a bursary award to the students union, demonstrating his dedication to empowering students and promoting academic excellence.
The event, which was held today December 26th, marked the annual NUUS day, with the theme *”Embracing Cultural Diversity in the Digital Age: Leveraging Social Media for Education Excellence and Cultural Preservation.”*
The occasion featured notable guest speakers, including Aworetan Juwon, President of the Ondo South Advancement and Welfare Consultative Association (OSAWA), and Yemi “My Lover,” a veteran Nollywood actor, who was represented by Dayo Ayebo. Other highlights of the event included the coronation of the new Miss NUUS and the swearing-in of the new executive members.
In his remarks, Professor Faduyile commended the outgoing executives for their numerous achievements and challenged the incoming team to surpass their predecessors’ accomplishments. This award demonstrates professor Faduyile’s commitment to education, cultural preservation and community development.
