Rise in insecurity; a call for speedy action to all and a sordid attitude of some political leaders and traditional rulers in Ondo North Senatorial District.
High time, our traditional leaders and political leaders abandon their paradoxical behavior and sordid altitude of ìmò teni nìkan that denies our growth as a community and in hindering our development in Ondo North.
We can’t be doing the same thing all time and expect different results?
Permit me to take few minutes then your decision as a bonafide citizen of Ondo North.
Firstly, Do they really care?
Our people lost hope in the justice system because they had been denied justice while defending themselves.
Eyes filled with tears and my heart heavy because our pains are not felt and our voices, not heard.
Economy down, we couldn’t feed our families anymore because unknown criminal elements had taken over our forest, farms, our ancestral lands and we had become strangers in our land.
The question is who is next?
Alas! Our land had become den of kidnapping and killings for over 3years our mothers, sisters, fathers, youths even corps members are not left out in this their criminal activities.
I can’t forget so easily, the death of one of the traditional rulers and Owo massacre which left our heart shattered some years back.
Political class, societal status, tribe, hierarchy nor our religion are considered before perpetrating their evil.
Is it not the high time, we call a spade a spade, in our senatorial district?
If their actions are birthed by the first law of newton, can’t the 3rd law of newton too be reciprocated?
Bí èròmi won tójó tí onílùwon wàlábé omi, óye kí agbé fún won, bí wón se gbe wá àbí jù bélo.
Are we going to fold our hands and wait for manners from heaven when we are been given wisdom and knowledge to conquer our fears?
Why do we have authorities?
Secondly, may God give late prophet T.B. Joshua external rest and late governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN because of their extremely contribution to the Security Sector in Ondo North.
Our people known for bravery had become neighbors with the unknown criminals, who had been perpetrating evil in our district, our people like former minister of defense, former minister of power, former CJ, former CBN Manager, Afenifere leaders, 3times senator, retired generals, retired cornels, retired major generals, retired IGP, Aare Ona Kankanfo, former Attorney generals e.t.c. are now silent or dancing nakedly in the public square.
Thirdly, I am calling on the Deputy Governor of Ondo state Dr. Chief Adelami Olayide MNI and kabiesi Olubaka of Oka, Oba Yusuf Adebori Adeleye as a point of contact to all political leaders, elders and traditional rulers in Ondo North to save our souls.
Our people are dieing in silence everyday, our lives and properties are not secured anymore.
I call on the Dr Olubunmi Tunji Ojo (BTO), the Minister of interior to look interiorly, for us to feel is impact across the senatorial district especially Akoko South west , Akoko South East ,Ose and Owo in safeguarding us all.
I want to remind Senator Jide Ipinsagba that, I told him in our meeting that, he should let Nigerians know, at the red chamber of the National Assembly, that over 50 people had been killed and kidnapped over 2years, for federal government urgent intervention and support.
I hope it won’t be too late for him to know, we voted him to be our voice at the red chamber but he had been silent on our security.
I challenge him to cry for help, as we can no longer endure.
It is a sour taste to swallow that, none of the 3 house if representatives in Ondo North, had spoken about the insecurity in their federal constituency at the national assembly, I call on them all to be alive to their duties as the empowerment and constituency projects by them won’t be used by ghost.
Furthermore, using the majority leader and deputy minority leader of the house of assembly, Hon. Oluwole Ogumolasuyi and Hon. Raymond Oluwatoyin as a point of contact to all the 9 members from Ondo North; not to keep quiet, as no one is save from the hands of this people.
I ask, the traditional rulers meeting, leaders meeting, elders meeting, women meetings, caucus meetings what is being discussed?
Lastly, I have earlier opined for STAKEHOLDERS SECURITY AND TOWN HALL MEETING IN ONDO NORTH for this is better way; for us to have a sustainable panacea to the security challenges in Ondo North.
Our people are not lazy, we are hardworking, our people are not coward, we are brave and bold.
I write to remind you all that, the time as come again allegedly, for them to attack our people ;as the time of religion faithfuls will be celebrating is close and I want to make it bold that, if any of our people is being kidnapped or killed as from now, the youths across the 72wards, over 50 communities and 6 local government of Ondo North would be mobilized and not hesitate to protest and occupy the roads and streets of Ondo North Senatorial District.
I have ask 7questions but before you express your sentiments and criticism towards me, where is your heart of patriotism?
