EBISENI CALLS FOR PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENCE AS MUSLIM COMMENCE RAMADAN
As Muslim faithful commence the obligatory 30-day fasting period, chief Olusola Nehemiah Ebiseni, the leading PDP gubernatorial aspirant in ondo state has called for prayers for peace, unity, and progress of the country, and our dear sunshine state in particularly as the 2024 gubernatorial elections draw near.
The Afenifere Secretary General and the 3 times Commissioner charged the Muslim faithful to be steadfast and pray for Nigeria.
In his goodwill message heralding the holy month, Ebiseni admonished Muslims to always abide by the lessons of Ramadan, which include self-denial, discipline, and perseverance, as contained in the tenets of Islam.
In the message signed by his Special Adviser, Prince Elias Matiminu, Ebiseni also enjoin Muslims to imbibe the spirit of forgiveness, discipline, and good neighbourliness during and after the period of Ramadan.
“We must do away with all acts that contradicts the expected behaviour of a devout Muslim and promote friendliness, hope, and love among the generality of Nigerians.
Ebiseni also urged all faithful in the state to pray for the peace and progress of Ondo State and Nigeria called for a peaceful conduct of the 2024 gubernatorial campaigns and election. He promises that his administration would run government of inclusiveness, encourage religious harmony, and forge a common front for the good of the society.
