ONDO STATE PDP WOMAN LEADER RESIGNS AFTER 25 YEARS OF SERVICE
In a surprise move, the Woman Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, Rev Mother Hon Ebiwonjumi Esther Omowumi JP, has tendered her resignation from her position and the party, effective immediately.
In a letter addressed to the Chairman, Apoi Ward One (1) Igbekebo, Ese Odo LG Ondo State, Rev Mother Omowumi expressed a mix of sadness and gratitude as she announced her decision to leave the party after 25 years of dedicated service.
During her time in the party, Rev Mother Omowumi held various positions, including Elected Vice Chairman of Ese Odo Local Government, Member of the CDC Committee under the leadership of Agagu, State Women Leader for 8 years and 6 months, State Coordinator for the Goodluck/Sambo campaign in 2015, State Coordinator for the Atiku/Obi campaign in 2019, and State Coordinator for the Atiku/Okowa campaign in 2023.
