SENATOR JIMOH IBRAHIM REPRESENTED ONDO STATE WELL IN THE SENATE – PROFESSOR DAYO FADUYILE.
The Pro- chancellor and Chairman Governing council of Federal University of education Kontagora( FUEK) Professor Dayo Faduyile, OON, says Senator Jimoh Ibrahim ,CFR,deserves profound commendation for representing Ondo South senatorial District and Ondo state in general very well in the upper chamber before his recent appointment as an ambassador designate by President Bola Tinubu.
Professor Faduyile in a statement he personally signed and made available to Newsmen in Akure is of the view that the Distinguished Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR ,deserves all the accolades being poured on him for the quality representation he gave to Ondo state citizens who are excited about his recent elevation.
The Former National president of the Nigeria medical Association commended President Bola Tinubu for taking note of the highly loaded attributes of Senator Jimoh Ibrahim which prompted his being chosen as one of the 62 Ambassador designates who were screened by the senate .
The Professor of pathology and Forensic medicine affirmed that while in the senate,Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR,put into use his wealth of experience in his business empire as well as his high tower academic credentials to project Ondo South senatorial District very well ,adding that the same carriage will help him achieve greater things in his Diplomatic assignment outside the Nigerian shores.
The APC chieftain noted that the big shoe left behind by Senator Jimoh Ibrahim should be worn by an equally tested and experienced Politician with an inspiring academic status who can follow the progressive pathways of the Doctor of War studies and the Doctor of Business often described by the senate president as “Professor of Business”
Professor Faduyile submits that based on his academic qualifications as a professor of medicine who held various sensitive positions in the medical Association in Nigeria in addition to his active political activities at the grassroots of the APC in Ondo state and Nigeria and being from the same constituency with the Distinguished Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, under the okitipupa local government, he feels with a sense of deep respect and humility to vie for the Ondo South senate ticket in the coming by election after the Distinguished occupier of the exalted seat must have departed for his diplomatic posting abroad early this year.
Professor Faduyile explained that while he continues to expand his consultations with political stakeholders in the Ondo South senatorial District and the State APC Party organ,he is confident that if given the chance ,he will maintain the Tempo of quality representation left behind by Senator Jimoh Ibrahim who has by his high profile performance record posted Ondo state map on a higher pedestal of recognition in the upper chamber.
It will be recalled that early December last year,president Bola Tinubu announced the appointment of 62, career and non career Ambassadors who were screened by the senate and of this figure,only Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR is from the National Assembly.
