Ondo State Federal Workers for PBAT teams up with Sunshine Grassroots Network (SGN), to support President Bola Tinubu.

A delegation of Ondo State Federal Public Workers for PBAT paid a courtesy visit on the Director General of Sunshine Grassroots Network (SGN), Dayo Awude, to pledge their support for the organization and its leadership.

The group expressed admiration for the leadership style of Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the national leader of SGN, and Hon. Dayo Awude, the Director General of the SGN. The group commended the work of SGN in mobilizing grassroots support for the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. They stated that their major objective is to mobilize and sensitize Federal Workers across the state towards the re-election of President Tinubu, while encouraging more people to join the Sunshine Grassroots Network.

Speaking during the meeting, the State Chairman of Federal Public Service Workers for PBAT, Comrade Saliu, aligned the group with the ongoing economic reforms of President Tinubu. He noted that federal workers across the country are beginning to see the benefits of the administration’s policies, including the approval and signing of gratuity payments for federal workers.

Comrade Saliu further explained that their organization has members across about forty federal agencies, and plans are underway to establish strong structures in all Local Government Areas to help mobilize support for the President’s policies and political agenda. He appealed for recognition and collaboration with the Sunshine Grassroots Network, stressing that their visit was aimed at adding value to the network’s activities and strengthening the grassroots movement.

In his response, the Director General of SGN, Hon. Dayo Awude, welcomed the group and appreciated their commitment to supporting the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He highlighted several reforms introduced by the President, particularly in the areas of:

Economic reforms aimed at stabilizing the Nigerian economy

Infrastructure development across the country, particularly the ongoing road construction in Ondo State

Public sector reforms to improve workers’ welfare

Efforts to tackle insecurity and terrorism

Awude described the visit as timely and a major boost to the Sunshine Grassroots Network, noting that the inclusion of federal public Service workers from multiple agencies would further strengthen the organization’s grassroots structure. He assured the delegation that SGN would work closely with them to expand mobilization efforts across local governments and communities.

The meeting ended with a renewed commitment from both groups to work together in mobilizing support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and strengthening grassroots political engagement through the Sunshine Grassroots Network. In attendance was the Secretary of SGN, Prince Olu Egbodofo and Mr Sunday Oladimeji
