Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, Aseyori Political Movement Issue Disclaimer on House of Representatives Aspirant

PRESS STATEMENT
The attention of the Office of Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR, and the Aseyori Political Movement has been drawn to reports that one Mr. Omosehin, an aspirant for the House of Representatives seat for Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency, is allegedly parading himself as a “candidate” or anointed choice of Senator Jimoh Ibrahim.
We wish to state *clearly and unequivocally that Senator Jimoh Ibrahim has neither endorsed nor authorized any aspirant for the House of Representatives position in Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency.
At this time, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim is an Ambassador-designate and is not involved in any form of campaign, endorsement, or political sponsorship relating to this contest. Consequently, the Aseyori Political Movement is also not part of, nor aligned with, the campaign of Mr. Omosehin or any other aspirant.
Any individual or group invoking the name of Senator Jimoh Ibrahim or the Aseyori Political Movement for political advantage, influence, or financial collection does so entirely on their own responsibility and without authorization.
Political aspirants are advised to face the merit of their ambitions independently, build their structures lawfully, and engage constituents without misrepresenting affiliations or seeking undue advantage through false claims.
While Senator Jimoh Ibrahim and the Aseyori Political Movement maintain respect for democratic participation, no aspirant should mislead the public by suggesting backing that does not exist.
We wish Mr. Omosehin and all other aspirants *the best of luck in their political pursuits,* conducted transparently and honorably.
