BTO Deepens Grassroots Mobilisation for Tinubu’s Re-election as PMF Inaugurates Structures Across Ondo State

By Kuye Babatunde

The Progressive Mandate Forum (PMF), a coalition of groups within the political family of the Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on Wednesday inaugurated its structures across the 18 local government areas of Ondo State as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general election.

The state-wide exercise witnessed the inauguration of ward coordinators, local government presiding officers, secretaries and other key officials, marking a significant step towards establishing a coordinated organisational network across the state.

PMF brings together various groups within the BTO political family under a common platform to coordinate grassroots engagement and mobilise support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

As part of the initiative, 100 members were designated for each local government area, bringing the forum’s projected membership across Ondo State to 1,800.

The initiative is powered by Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, popularly known as BTO, whose political network continues to focus on strengthening grassroots structures and coordinating support for President Tinubu’s second-term ambition.

Importantly, the establishment of PMF does not invalidate, replace or dissolve any existing support group under the BTO political umbrella. Rather, the new arrangement provides an additional platform for coordination and collaboration, enabling PMF to work alongside existing groups while respecting their identities, leadership structures and ongoing activities.

Through this framework, the various groups within the BTO political family can strengthen cooperation, improve communication and expand grassroots engagement without undermining the contributions of established support groups.

The newly inaugurated ward coordinators and local government officers are expected to serve as vital links between the forum’s leadership and members, coordinating activities and advancing its objectives across their respective areas.

With the inauguration completed across all 18 local government areas, PMF is positioned to complement existing political structures within the BTO family, broaden grassroots engagement and contribute to the collective mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general election.
