SGN Akure South Chapter Inaugurates Ward Executives, Charges Members to Mobilise Support for Tinubu, APC Candidates
The Sunshine Grassroots Network (SGN), Akure South Local Government Chapter of Ondo State, has inaugurated its ward executives, charging them to intensify grassroots mobilisation and aggressively canvass votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The inauguration marked another step in SGN’s efforts to strengthen its grassroots structures and consolidate support for the APC across Ondo State.

The leadership used the occasion to reiterate SGN’s unwavering commitment to the APC and all its candidates, making it clear that the organisation is not part of any political coalition or faction outside the party.
The newly inaugurated ward executives were charged to take the organisation’s message to every community, engage eligible voters, mobilise supporters and work diligently towards securing victory for President Tinubu and all APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.

The leadership stressed that the executives must demonstrate commitment, unity and dedication to their responsibilities, noting that the success of the organisation depends largely on effective grassroots engagement and the ability to translate political support into votes at the polls.

SGN further reaffirmed its support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, urging members to remain focused and united in advancing the political fortunes of the APC.
Among the leaders in attendance were the Central Coordinator, Hon. Banji Fatukase, popularly known as Ololo; the North Coordinator, Hon. Abiodun Obey; the State Deputy Director, Hon. Dabo Festus; the SGN Secretary, Prince Olu Egbododo; the Deputy Director, Women Affairs, Mrs Ajiboye; and the Director of Media and Publicity, Comrade Kuye Babatunde.
Their presence underscored the importance attached to strengthening SGN’s local government and ward structures as the organisation intensifies its grassroots mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The organisation reiterated its commitment to building a stronger grassroots network that will promote the APC and support the re-election of President Tinubu, alongside the electoral success of all the party’s candidates.
