The Sunshine Grassroots Network (SGN) has welcomed the SureVictory BTO4PBAT political structure into its fold following the integration of the group into the network, in a move aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilisation and advancing the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The SureVictory BTO4PBAT delegation, led by its State Coordinator, Mrs Obafemi and the Secretary, Comrade Tope Praise, comprised all the state executives.

Speaking during the integration meeting, the State Coordinator acknowledged the remarkable contributions of SGN to the growth and visibility of the APC in Ondo State, describing the network as a people-oriented political platform whose activities and grassroots engagements have added significant value to the party.

She noted that SGN has grown into a formidable and recognisable brand that people are proud to associate with, adding that their decision to integrate was borne out of the desire to work with the network and strengthen collective efforts towards the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the success of all APC candidates.

Welcoming the delegation, the Director General of SGN, Hon. Dayo Awude, expressed delight at the decision of SureVictory BTO4PBAT to join the network, assuring them that SGN remains open to all individuals and groups committed to its vision and objectives.

Hon. Awude reiterated that SGN is firmly rooted in the APC and remains loyal to the party, stressing that the network is not a platform for division or political factionalism but a structure committed to supporting the party and all its candidates.

He further reaffirmed that Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Minister of Interior, remains the national leader of the network, emphasising that SGN recognises his leadership and will continue to follow his political direction.

The Director General assured the new members of an inclusive working environment where everyone would have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the growth and activities of the network. He urged them to return to their respective local government areas and intensify grassroots mobilisation, particularly in securing support for President Tinubu’s re-election and all APC candidates.

Other SGN leaders present at the meeting included the Secretary, Prince Olu Egbododo; Director of Women Affairs, Hon. Omotolani Hassan Isiaku; Deputy Director of Women Affairs, Mrs Ajiboye; and Director of Media and Publicity, Comrade Babatunde Kuye.

The integration further underscores SGN’s commitment to expanding its grassroots reach, fostering political unity and building a stronger mobilisation network across the 18 local government areas of Ondo State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
