On behalf of the Abodi’Kale Royal family, I felicitate with our son, Prince Prof. Adedayo Faduyile, OON, who is the immediate past Special Adviser to Ondo State Governor on Health, for the meritorious service discharged to the people of the state and humanity at large.

We are proud of him for the expertise, professionalism, and regal comportment he brought to public service as well as for making indelible marks in the health sector.

Prof. Faduyile, a prince with noble blood, has distinguished himself by serving the state as a worthy ambassador of the entire Ikale nation. He is a quintessential “Omoluabi,” who allows the real etiquette of the palace to bear on his stewardship.

It is one thing to train a child and another for the child to choose a different path that brings nothing but reproach to the parents, family, and community at large.
In the case of Prof. Dayo Faduyile, however, he embraced the two virtues of being properly trained and standing out on personal rebirth for greater heights in life. He is a real phenomenon of no small reputation.

As a son of reputable school principals, Abodi Faduyile and Olori respectively, he has exemplified discipline and undeniable comeliness in public service at the national level as the first Ondo State indigene to be the President of Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) and at state level as an appointee of the state government; even when the chips were down and many chose to swim in the puddles of messy political waters, his garments remained blemishless.

Unlike the proverbial prodigal son, he has brought no iota of shame to the Ikale people of Ondo South Senatorial District and beyond, but rather, honour, glory and praise; and with the giant strides recorded in the health sector like Colossus, especially in the Ondo State Contributory Health Commission, the University of Medical Science Teaching Hospital, and Ondo State Emergency Medical Service Authority like never before, we welcome him back home with filial pats on the shoulders for making us proud.

According to P.J. Cullingwood, “Knowing yourself is knowing what you can do. Since no man knows what he can do until he tries, the only clue to what man can do is what he has done.” We are so confident in the abilities of our son and brother, which has proven the efficacy of the Midas Touch in everything he handles.

Without mincing words nor any equivocation, we, the family and well-wishers, throw our weight behind him for any aspirations he chooses to pursue in life: career-bound and/or political. We can vouch for his integrity, clarity of purpose, sincerity of intentions, and judgment to leave whatever he chooses to do better than he met it.

Prince ‘Dokun Faduyile,
For the family.
