Goodnight, Paul Akintelure
We were woken to a most devastating news of the sudden and tragic demise of Dr. Paul Akintelure, distinguished Nigerian citizen, an illustrious son of Ondo State and of Ikale land. A self- accomplished personality, he conquered life and its vicissitudes undeterred by the early loss of his father to live his dream as a medical practitioner of the first order.
Though we do not share the same platform as politicians, he earned our respect, which is mutual, as professionals in politics and carried himself most respectably and epitomised the mantra of ‘politics without bitterness”.
It is most depressing that within the spate of a short while, our state has suffered this debacle of loss of some of our frontline citizens, yet to God Almighty go our supplications for an immediate end thereto.
Our condolences go to his wife and children, the Igbotako and Ikale communities and the people of Ondo State for this heart-rending loss.
