Ekimogun Roundtable Appoints Kayode Fagun as Chairman, Enterprise Group with #2million take-off Grant.

The Ekimogun Roundtable, a socioeconomic group of Ondo Indigenes both home and abroad, has appointed Otunba Kayode Fagun as Chairman of the group’s Enterprise Roundtable.

In a statement released by the group’s acting secretary, Ms Christiana Ayodele and made available to newsmen in Ondo city on Thursday, the group described the Eki Enterprise Roundtable (EER) as one of the group’s quick win initiatives aimed at empowering Ondo people and improving the city’s economic climate.

‘’The EER is a phased empowerment pack that comes with 2 million naira financial support for the first phase and a free 50acres arable land available across the project’s lifespan”

The EER is also forming a strategic alliance with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) in the area of training and other technical support systems needed across the entire agricultural value chain.

Ms Christiana says the commitments of the EER team so far has shown that Ondo people are indeed enterprising and can compete favorably with their peers anywhere in the world, urging political leaders to be more engaging and ensure they place the interest and wellbeing of the people and community above personal aggrandizements.

The group frowned at a situation whereby over 350million naira was allocated for the procurement of farm implements and other empowerment projects in the constituency by the Federal Government in the last few years with nothing meaningful to show for it due to lack of purposeful representation.

Ekimogun Roundtable is also celebrating Hon. Fagun Kayode on his birthday and affirms his loyalty, doggedness, and altruistic character in championing the course of the Ekimogun always. The group says it holds Otunba Kayode in high esteem and wishes him the best as he celebrates.
