Ore Irele festival: Senator Faduyile congratulates Olofun

Ondo South Senator, Senator Dayo Faduyile, OON, has congratulated The Olofun of Irele, Oba Samuel Odimayo Omopariola, the Olofun-in-Council and the entire good people of Irele Kingdom on the occasion of the celebration of Ore festival 2026.
Senator Faduyile while congratulating the Olofun of Irele on the festivity in an official congratulatory statement said the Ore Festival stands out in Irele as one of the well celebrated traditional festivities in Ikaleland and the 2026 edition of the festival is unique as it marks the first celebration of Ore by Oba Odimayo.
The Ondo South Senator said it is heart warming that Oba Odimayo is leading the good people of Irele to mark this traditionally rich festival even as he prayed that Olofun and his Council of Chiefs will celebrate many more Ore festivals in good health.
Senator Faduyile called on the people of the town to celebrate moderately and indulge in calm and peaceful revelry as the festival is about showcasing the culture and tradition of the people which has been sustained from time immemorial, noting that Ore festival is as old as the kingdom.
“I join all the good people of Ondo South to wish Kabiesi, Oba Samuel Odimayo, the Olofun of Irele a hearty congratulations as he leads the people of Irele Kingdom to celebrate Ore Festival. It is heart warming to note that Ikaleland is replete with rich traditional festivals that can be given a facelift and that can be harvested as medium of expanding and trending Ikale culture and tradition for tourism purposes.
“May Kabiesi continue to flourish in his kingdom and may his subjects continue to grow in leaps and bounds,” Senator Faduyile prayed.
