Barrister Sandra Ogunmola Condemns Prolong Detention of Adelokiki, Calls for Fairness

In a tweep on her verified Facebook page, the erudite lawyer, Barrister Sandra Ogunmola has lent her voice to condemn the prolong detention of Mr. Orimisan Adelokiki

Mr Adelokiki is currently being held in prison for his role in the community agitation against the management of the Okitipupa Oil Palm Company, regarding a supposedly undue land occupation with blatant disrespect and disregard for lawful Supreme Court order.

According to Ogunmola, Adelokiki deserves fair hearing and justice, his detention without bail is unfair.

Her tweep reads: ” JUSTICE FOR Orimisan Adelokiki I saw my brother Adelokiki Orimisan in court today. But it baffles me that the court did not attend to his matter. It was adjourned to a new date without the opportunity to take his bail application. Alright, i could see the hand of Esau but the voice of Jacob in this matter. It is most likely an oppression from those in the helms of affairs somewhere, which we may not know for now. I also learned the erudite lawyers involved have been working assiduously to bring it to the attention of the necessary judicial authority.

This detention without bail is unfair, highly unfair. I wont say more than that for now.”

Ogunmola, who is a human rights lawyer and a social crusader, has further validated her callings in this regard.
