Sunshine Grassroots Network (SGN) Lauds Governor Aiyedatiwa, Minister Tunji Ojo for Warm Reception
The Sunshine Grassroots Network (SGN) has extended formal gratitude to prominent political leaders in Ondo State, appreciating the warm welcome they received after deciding to join the All Progressives Congress (APC). In a statement signed by Hon. Dayo Awude, Coordinator and former Deputy Governorship candidate of the Labour Party, and Olu Egbodofo, Secretary, the group praised Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for personally receiving them and supporting their successful defection. According to the SGN, the Governor’s assurances demonstrated that the APC is indeed “a home for everyone.”
The network specifically acknowledged the pivotal role played by the Minister of Interior, Hon. Bunmi Tunji Ojo (BTO), in sparking the conversation that led to their joining the party. The statement commended him for providing encouragement and substantial support, describing him as a “highly effective minister and a commendable ambassador” for Ondo State.
Furthermore, the group expressed special gratitude to Ondo APC Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, and the party leadership at all levels for extending a warm welcome since the beginning of the process, ultimately culminating in their formal entry into the party
