BTO, through the Sunshine Grassroots Network (SGN), today brought renewed hope and tangible support to farmers across Ese-Odo and Irele Local Government Areas with a well-coordinated empowerment programme held in Igbotu, Ese-Odo LGA.

The initiative, which saw the distribution of essential farming tools including spray pumps and rain boots, was met with overwhelming appreciation from beneficiaries and community members. The gesture not only underscores a deep commitment to grassroots development but also reflects a strategic effort to boost agricultural productivity and improve the livelihoods of local farmers.

Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, the Director General of SGN, Dr. Dayo Awude, emphasized that the empowerment programme is part of a broader vision to strengthen community support and advance sustainable development at the grassroots level. He noted that the initiative also aligns with ongoing efforts to galvanize support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections, highlighting the administration’s continued dedication to the welfare of the people.

The event attracted notable personalities, including Barr. Festus DABO, Prince Olu-Johnson Egbodofo,Barr Austin Jolowo,Pastor Babatunde Kuye, other are Hon Mrs Tolani Hassan ,Com Taiwo Olafisoye ,Mr Biodun Adefila and Mr Ismael Akinola. all of whom commended the initiative as timely and impactful.

Indeed, the programme stands as a clear testament to purposeful leadership and people-centered intervention, reinforcing the bond between governance and the grassroots while putting smiles on the faces of hardworking farmers in Ese-Odo and Irele.
