From Washington to Ondo: Senator Jimoh Ibrahim’s Heartfelt Easter Gift

By Babatunde KUYE

Senator Jimoh Ibrahim has once again demonstrated his commitment to the welfare of his constituents by gifting women in Ondo South with cash to celebrate the Easter season. This generous gesture is part of the senator’s tradition of sharing his allowance from international trips with his people, especially during festive periods.

The senator had announced on some Southern platforms and all Aseyorilekansi platforms that he would be sharing his allowance from the IMF/World Bank meeting in Washington DC with women in the community, provided they registered on the platform before April 18, 2025.

This is not the first time Senator Ibrahim has shown kindness to his constituents. In December, he directed that 200 Southerners receive ₦50,000 each, totaling ₦10 million, and also distributed 50 bags of rice to deserving individuals.

In line with this tradition, Senator Ibrahim believes his constituents need his allowances and salary more than he does, which is why he has donated his allowances from the ongoing World Bank Parliament and IMF meeting in Washington DC to his constituents, citing the hardship in the land.

In the last seven months, the senator has donated all his last five international trips’ allowances to his constituents, showcasing his dedication to their welfare. His actions have brought joy and relief to many individuals and families in the community.
