Within just three years, Dr. Aduro has personally directed over ₦500 million into community development and empowerment projects, setting a benchmark for leadership that prioritizes action, sustainability, and the well-being of every citizen.
Transforming Access to Clean Water
Recognizing that access to clean water is a fundamental driver of health and dignity, Dr. Aduro has delivered solar-powered community borehole water projects to multiple communities:
Two (2) solar-powered boreholes at Igboeguren Community
One (1) each at Mahintedo, Igbobi, Ilumeje, and Oloto, collectively funded with ₦36 million
A solar-powered borehole at the Okitipupa 19 Battalion Army Barracks, funded with ₦10.5 million
A solar-powered water treatment plant serving the Nigerian Navy FOB and Igbokoda Community, funded with ₦38 million
These initiatives have eased daily hardships, enhanced public health, and reinforced security operations by providing reliable access to safe water.
Investing in Education and Knowledge
Dr. Aduro’s vision for the future is anchored in education and innovation. He has constructed an ultra-modern community library, science laboratory, and computer laboratory at Igboeguren Community, a transformative investment of ₦150 million. This facility equips young people with critical skills and knowledge, preparing them to thrive in a competitive, technology-driven world.
Strengthening Healthcare Delivery
Healthcare is a cornerstone of Dr. Aduro’s community-focused leadership. He built and fully equipped a modern health center at the Okitipupa Local Government Secretariat, investing ₦65 million to ensure accessible, high-quality healthcare for residents and workers alike.
Enhancing Governance and Institutional Efficiency
Dr. Aduro has strengthened local governance by equipping Okitipupa Local Government Secretariat offices with six brand-new laptops and printers, at a cost of ₦9 million, improving efficiency and service delivery.
Supporting Security and Public Safety
He has invested in institutions responsible for peace and security, including:
Okitipupa Divisional Police Headquarters fence, toilet building, office furniture, and PCRC building support – ₦9 million
Federal Road Safety Corps office renovation – ₦4 million
Nigerian Civil Defence office renovation – ₦2.5 million
Construction of an ultra-modern Nigeria Immigration Service building in Okitipupa, currently valued at ₦74.6 million
These contributions reinforce law enforcement capacity, enhance safety, and strengthen institutional efficiency across the region.
Empowering Youth and Promoting Unity
Understanding the power of sports and community engagement, Dr. Aduro has provided ₦8 million in support for the Peace and Unity Football Project in Okitipupa, fostering youth empowerment, community cohesion, and peace building initiatives.
