The Sunshine Grassroots Network (SGN) has extended its Tinubu Apron empowerment initiative to Ore, the headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area in Ondo South, where over 1,000 market women and men received branded aprons in a show of grassroots appreciation and political engagement.
The Ore activation, led by the Director-General of SGN, Hon. Dayo Awude, marks the conclusion of the first leg of the programme across Ondo State’s three senatorial districts, following earlier outreaches in Ikare Akoko (Ondo North) and Isinkan Market, Akure (Ondo Central).
The exercise was carried out under the SGN Atajere Scheme, powered by the Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (BTO), and was greeted with excitement, songs, and open expressions of gratitude from traders at the bustling Ore Market.

Speaking on behalf of the Iyaloja of Ore Market, who was unavoidably absent, a market leader described the initiative as the first major engagement with the market community since the conclusion of the presidential and state elections.
“This is the first time Ore Market is being remembered after the elections. We sincerely thank BTO and SGN for this thoughtful gesture,” he said.
The traders expressed appreciation for the intervention and pledged their continued support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, assuring that the goodwill shown would be reciprocated through sustained political loyalty.
While commending the initiative, the market community also appealed to the Minister of Interior to facilitate more dividends of democracy for Ore Market, describing it as the biggest and busiest market in Ondo State, with immense economic importance.
With the completion of the first leg of the Tinubu Apron outreach, SGN reaffirmed its commitment to grassroots mobilization and market empowerment, noting that the second leg of the programme will continue with visits to more markets across the state in the coming weeks.
