ORO WA TI DAYO: PROF. DAYO FADUYILE TAKES OATH OF OFFICE AS DISTINGUISHED SENATOR OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA

Abuja, Nigeria – June 24, 2026
History was made today as Prof. Adedayo Faduyile formally took the Oath of Office at the Senate Chamber of the National Assembly, Abuja, officially assuming his constitutional responsibility as the Distinguished Senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
The swearing-in ceremony marks the beginning of a new chapter in the political representation of Ondo South, following Prof. Faduyile’s victory in the recent senatorial by-election and the mandate entrusted to him by the people of the district.
For many constituents across the six local government areas of Ondo South, today’s event is more than a constitutional procedure; it is a defining moment that reflects the collective voice, aspirations, and expectations of the people.
The historic event attracted prominent political leaders, government officials, party stalwarts, and supporters from across Ondo State and beyond. Among those present were the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa; renowned legal luminary and APC chieftain, Chief Olusola Oke, SAN; the Governor’s Chief of Protocol, Mr. Abayomi Olusanaya; Hon. Abiola Makinde, Member representing Ondo East/Ondo West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives; former House of Representatives member, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye (Small Alhaji); the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Ondo State, Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN; and Hon. Victor Ategbole, APC candidate for Akoko North East/Akoko North West Federal Constituency, among several other distinguished guests.
Prof. Faduyile, a renowned medical practitioner, former National President of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), and respected public servant, brings to the Red Chamber a wealth of professional experience, integrity, and leadership. His emergence has been warmly received across the district by citizens who view his inauguration as a fresh opportunity for purposeful representation, effective advocacy, and accelerated development.
The slogan, “Oro Wa Ti Dayo,” has continued to resonate across Ondo South as a rallying call for hope, unity, progress, and confidence in a brighter future for the district.
