An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Hon. Thalis Olonite Apalowo, on Tuesday hosted party leaders and members at his country home in Ogbagi Akoko, Ondo State, in what was widely described as a gathering of unity, solidarity, and renewed commitment to the party’s growth.
Addressing attendees, the Chairman of APC, Ogbagi Akoko Ward 6, Comrade Musa Jimoh, commended Hon. Apalowo for his consistent support for party faithful, describing him as a dependable pillar who continually gives back to the party and its members.
In his remarks, Hon. Apalowo Thalis said the meeting was convened in honour of the Minister of Interior, Hon. (Dr.) Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, whom he described as a compassionate leader deeply committed to the welfare of his people.
“I am hosting our party today in the name of my leader, Hon. (Dr.) Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, who loves his people dearly. To appreciate him, we must support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, because the reward for good work is more work,” Apalowo stated.
A former Chief Judge of Ondo State, Hon. Justice Olasehinde Kumuyi (rtd.), praised both Tunji-Ojo and Apalowo for consistently including Ogbagi Akoko in their developmental agenda, noting that their interventions were already translating into visible benefits for the community. He assured that their leadership would continue to enjoy the support of the people.

Also speaking, a former Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oluwasegunota Bolarinwa, commended the reforms initiated by Tunji-Ojo at the Ministry of Interior. He described the minister as the “star boy of the Renewed Hope Government,” adding that his performance has brought pride to Ondo State and strengthened the APC’s standing nationally.
An APC elder, Alhaji Oloruntoba, urged party members to remain united and steadfast as preparations towards the 2027 general elections gather momentum.
Also present at the event was Chief Feyi Ayanleye, Chairman of the Ogbagi Development Council (ODC), alongside party stalwarts, community leaders, and enthusiastic members who pledged continued loyalty to the APC and unwavering support for its leadership.
