Frontline gubernatorial aspirant in Ondo State under the People’s Democratic party (PDP), Olusola Nehemiah Ebiseni – ONE has met a group of political leaders consisting of all the aspirants for chairmanship positions in the 18 Local Government Area and the newly created LCDA of Ondo State. Speaking at the meeting in Akure, Ebiseni assures them that there will be light at the end of the tunnel.
His words, “My journey started the same way you people are starting today. Thus, I am happy to associate with you. It is a mark of integrity that you are singled out in your locality and accepted to lead your people. You need to know the need to give the people a sense of belonging in Ondo state. He further said that any governor that does not know the political parameter of the state will not do justice to the sharing of diviendeds.
Chief Sola Ebiseni, the Secretary General of Yoruba Socio-political Organisation Afenifere, and governorship aspirant in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the forthcoming governorship election in Ondo State further said that any governor who does not know the people and the political configuration of the state will not do justice to sharing of dividends among the people. You must ask anyone that comes before you how much he knows the state, the people, their cultural and political configuration.
Chief Ebiseni who said he knew the state and the people not by learning it from any school but through his participation in the politics of Ondo state for the past 33 years, having been elected as the chairman Ilaje/Ese Odo LG barely 30 years of age, Chairman Ondo State Law Commission where he rewrote the laws of the state, and 3 times commissioner under two governors.
He said, “I am a product of a social welfarist orientation of the Afenifere. I have learnt under giants, and no one can better govern the state than myself. Therefore, my government will give priority to quality and affordable education and health services. I have been part of the government that has done this before, I shall do it better. “
“My experience as a Commissioner – three times – in the Ministry of Environment and Mineral Resources gives me the opportunity to know all the mineral resources available in the state. We will bring in genuine investors and turn around the fortune of Ondo state from a Civil Service State to an industrial state. ”
In his response, one of the chairmanship aspirants who spoke on behalf of others described Ebiseni as a brand with distinctive qualities that stand him out. He said, “His Excellency, Sir, we have learnt a lot from you today, you indeed schooled us,” and he urged the gubernatorial, hopeful not to disappoint them when voted in.
